(NSFW) Vicious Violet: November Devil Girl of the Month 2016

Hello there, Gang, it’s your friend The Primal Root here. Well, today’s election day 2016, time to cast our ballots and see what scumdog will be our next commander and chief. Well, whoever you choose, thankfully, you can take solace in the absolutely stunning, inspired and unfathomably kickass spread from The Trash Cinema Collective’s Devil Girl of the Month, the gorgeous Vicious Violet! She has created a colorful and expertly timed spread for you to feast your eyes upon this election day, Gang. As the numbers are tallied up, and desperation sinks in, remember…THEY LIVE!

The Primal Root: Incredible concept and spread, Violet! What made you think to use John Carpenter’s They Live as your subject for this incredibly sexy and colorful spread? Wouldn’t have anything to do with the upcoming election, would it?

Vicious Violet: Oh, but of course it does! I’m already a John Carpenter fan, and in my own tradition, I watch Halloween movies every day of October. So, in 2014 I watched The Thing, Halloween, and Escape from New York before stumbling across They Live, and I was hooked!! I love Twilight Zone, and felt that this particular movie was a long TZ episode; so terrible, it was glorious. Plus, the message kills me! I decided then that for my next birthday/Halloween costume would be one of these disgusting aliens attending a masquerade ball. And then being invited to be November’s Devil Girl, on the cusp of a tumultuous election year, I just knew They would have to come back for seconds to control everyone to make the right vote! Keep the Alien Overlords in Power! They Live! You Sleep! Obey!

Root: Do you feel like They Live is still relevant in 2016?

Vicious: Oh yes! It’s so creepy how relevant it is to this day. Even more so with the advances in social media–we are all subliminally trained to post updates, consume the “right” products, and compare our lives to everyone else in this little handheld computer that controls us all. I was already shocked to really think about how much media surrounds our daily lives, and all of the product placements geared to get our money. “This is your God” might as well be our currency as I see our world devolve more and more into the importance of money each individual makes, and how unfair the system truly has become. I could go on for hours about how many theories this movie has spurned in my own life and makes me wonder if They really are Living while We Sleep.

Root: I gotta ask, where did you find such a phenomenal They Live alien mask?

Vicious: Well, I am very proud to say this is a one-of-a-kind mask that I made myself. It took two months, two masks, one ping-pong ball, lots of clay, paper mache, and love. After deciding to make this my 30th birthday/Halloween costume, I started early by gathering tutorials and reference photos, looking at the few They Live cosplayers’ how-to videos out there, and took my time constructing it. I’d say this art kid did a pretty good job!

Root: How was it having your entire body covered in paint? How was it to be transformed into a spirit crushing, soul sucking alien from They Live?

Vicious: It was absolutely delightful!! Having a birthday just before Halloween, and being the weird art kid that I am, I’m no stranger to costuming and cosplay, but I must say, this one was the most intensive I’ve gone for a transformation. I couldn’t have been more comfortable in my paint, but still giggle remembering the attention to detail I received through this process. (“Think they’ll see…?” “Yeah, just go ahead and paint it.” “Okay, so, lean forward and spread ‘em…” Completely normal, yes? And what a gentleman you are, too! )

I had paint from my ears to my toenails, and am still finding blue paint in the strangest of places…but I’d do it all over again if I had the chance!

Root: What song should folks listen to while viewing your spread?

Vicious: I played Deftones Radio on Pandora the whole shoot, so I’ll suggest the same, specifically Deftones’ Knife Party, Diamond Eyes, and Passenger. Gets you into the drone-mindset with a little undertone of sexiness.

Root: Any advice to our fellow Trash Cinema Collective members as they head to the polls to cast their ballots?

Vicious: Obey. Consume. Marry and Reproduce. Honor Apathy. Vote. Stay Asleep.

Lala: Devil Girl of the Month, October 2014

Happy October, Gang! The Primal Root here, excited beyond compare to introduce you all to our gorgeous, wicked and ravishing October Devil Girl of the Month, Lala. Before you feast your eyes on her phenomenal photo spread, let’s take a moment to get to know this femme fatale with a taste for all things horror.
The Primal Root: Lala, it’s an honor to feature you as our October Devil Girl of the Month! Tell us a little bit about yourself, what you’re up, what your interests are.
Lala: I’m really tickled pink to be picked for October’s Devil Girl, thank you muchly! A bit about myself… Well I’m 24 years of age, born ‘n bred in Milwaukee, WI. I have 2 years of nursing classes under my belt, but I plan on going back for criminal psychology next year.  I live with my boyfriend and his family, although we are scraping together our checks so we can rent an apartment of our own. To have our own space, a place we can truly call our home would be a beautiful thing. I work at my pop’s metal polishing and fabricating shop. Doing mostly grunt work, cleaning, inventory, etc..Interests. Dedicating entire days to nothing but lethargy and horror films, but that’s definitely a given. I’m a voracious reader and anything that is set before me I will devour. Visiting my gramama – she has been like a second mother to me and she is currently living her final days on Earth. Spending time with my boyfriend’s daughter. She’s damn near 2 years old and has a big and bright personality. I take pleasure in the little things. An afternoon with my family or even sharing a comfortable silence with my fella.
TPR: With Halloween fast approaching, I was wondering if you’d care to share your favorite Trashy flicks that get you in the mood?

Lala: Trashyflicks that get me in the mood aye? The People Under the Stairs. Red Dragon. Excision. Mum & Dad. Natural Born Killers. I Spit on Your Grave. Suspiria. Blind Beast. The Woman. Trick ‘R Treat.

TPR: Excellent selections, my dear! Got a costume in mind for this year’s Samhain?

Lala: For this year’s Samhain, I was spit balling with a few different costume ideas. Perhaps Akasha from Queen of the Damned or Coraline. Maybe Cruella DeVille. Cleopatra mayhaps! I’m quite scatterbrained on the subject. Ha
TPR: Oh WOW! Chomping at the bit to see you do those costumes justice. What song should the viewing audience at home listen to while admiring your Devil Girl shots?
Lala: Hmmmm, I think the song Number One Crush by Garbage would be a swell song to listen to when viewing my Devil Girl shots
TPR: Sexy AND creepy! Couldn;t have picked a better song, myself! Gotta ask, which cinematic boogieman do you hope you’ll run into this Halloween?
Lala: Without a doubt, I would love nothing more than to run into Leatherface on Devil’s Night. That would be a Devil Girl’s wet dream.
TPR: You heard her, Leatherface. Get that chainsaw reved up my friend and keep your eyes peeled this Halloween for One Ms. Lala Devil Girl! Alright, Lala, send us off with a favorite Trashy movie quote. Lala: Here’s my trashy quote, the final thought, “Come and get it, you undead sack of shit.” Bubba Ho-Tep
Well, you heard The Devil Girl, come and get it! Enjoy Lala’s sinful, seductive, bewitching October Devil Girl of the Month spread! Hope you have one very sick and twisted October, Gang and a Trashy Halloween!
Stay Trashy!

Trannysaurus Wrecks; March Devil Girl of the Month (2014)

Hey Gang! Well spring is in the air here at the Trash Cinema Collective, bringing the promise of warm weather, the return of colorful, vibrant plant life, bears come out of hibernation to maul hikers and The Devil Girls start wearing even less clothes than usual! But, I am getting ahead of myself, it is my great pleasure to introduce to you one very cool, alluring and downright provocative Devil Girl to kick off your Spring Fling, Trannysaurus Wrecks! Before you feast your eyes, let’s get to know Trannysaurus a bit better…

The Primal Root: Tell us a little bit about yourself. What are you into? What are your passions, your hobbies, favorite Trashy movies. Working on any projects The Collective should keep their eyes peeled for?

Trannysaurus Wrecks: First and foremost, I am a reader. Since I learned to read at the tender age six, I have been reading anything I could get my hands on, whether or not it was ‘age appropriate’. I devoured tons of comics, fantasy, science fiction, and non-fiction growing up. I’ve developed an appreciation of great literature, but I have never lost my taste for the genre stuff–especially comics. If I’m not reading, I’m probably practicing music. I’ve been beating the drums for about four years now, and I’ve just started to play guitar. My drumming may not be very good (I’m no judge of these things), but it’s certainly passionate. I play for myself, really–I know of no better release for my frustration and anger. I have no attention of ever performing for the public as a musician–but if there ever was an audience for the way I play, it’s The Collective. The Trashy movies I like the most are the ones that just seem to come from left field. I mean those rare gems made by people with no knowledge of how to make a movie, but a completely original vision nonetheless. The best example I can think of is True Stories, a film by the Talking Heads. It’s pretty bad, as movies go, but it is completely unlike anything else I have ever seen.

PR:  Tell us a bit about how you went about putting your photo spread together? What was your inspiration?

TW: When I was asked to do this, I was both honored and intimidated. The women featured here are truly beautiful! I knew there was no way for me to measure up, so I decided to embrace the Trash Cinema aesthetic of celebrating imperfection. I chose a theme: Rock and Roll in rawest, raunchiest, most rebellious form: the Devil’s music. No planning other than that was involved. Then we just ran with it quick and dirty using what was at hand. I told Mina not to photoshop anything. We were going for a raw feel–hopefully it shows!

PR: What song should The Gang listen to while checking out your spread?

TW: “Offend in Every Way” by the White Stripes.

PR: Are there any cinematic characters you feel represent you as a person?

TW: I have never really felt represented by anyone on film. To be honest, I think this has to do with my stubbornly idiosyncratic nature. I define myself in contrast to people, rather than in comparison to them.

PR: What film would you love to see at Trash Cinema Nights at Bird’s Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack?

TW:Forbidden Zone by the Mystic Knights of Oingo Bongo. Man, that film has it all. Cheap, raunchy, and bizarre, Forbidden Zone is a great example of a film that celebrates the strange and imperfect. It’s also a bit of cinematic history, being the first film ever to be scored by Danny Elfman.

PR: Excellent suggestion, Trannysaurus! We shall certainly put Forbidden Zone into consideration and we need to get you booked to play for us at Trash Cinema Nights!  Well, Gang, I feel we’ve  kept you in suspense long enough. Behold, the remarkable, the ovely, the one and only Trannysaurus Wrecks! Be sure to give Ms. Wrecks a warm welcome, Gang!

Stay Trashy!

One I’m sure will get your heart pounding and your loins aching in the most pleasant way imaginable, feast your eyes on the magnificent, the gorgeous, the wicked Shannon Stockin aka: Michelle Macabre and her damn fine Valentine’s Day Devil Girl set! A vision of beauty and dominance, it’s no wonder she manages to tempt and seduce unsuspecting suitors so easily, transforming them into the unwitting love slaves. Look on and enjoy with caution my friends, then again, perhaps you’d like to give in? And be subjected to the twisted pleasures of Michelle Macabre…

The Primal Root: First off, we gotta know what your favorite Trash Cinema film is, you can always tell a lot about a person by where they tastes in trash reside…

Michelle Macabre:  I’d have to say The Toxic Avenger, and Frankenhooker… Couldn’t narrow it down to just one 🙂

TPR:  Tell us a little bit about yourself. What are you into? What are your passions and hobbies.? Working on any projects The Collective should keep their eyes peeled for?

MM: I love to do cosplay modeling for various horror conventions , Displaying the costumes I make , also I love to model for horror websites , merchandise or for promotions of their sites 🙂 I also have a passion for doing special fX horror makeup , which I dabble in quite frequently 🙂

TPR: How did you go about putting your photo spread together? What was your inspiration?

MM: The idea came to me as being this ” bitchy” princess , and a dumb jock trying to win my love for Valentines day. But little did he know that he would become not my lover,  but my slave… Hence the “dumb jock” stereotype!

TPR:  What flick will you be watching this Valentine’s Day?

MM:  I’d have to say My Bloody Valentine.. I really do love that movie , trash , blood, gore … What could be better ?

TPR:  Any juicy, strange or unusual Valentine’s Day stories you’d care to share with The Collective?

MM: I don’t have anything really strange…Well, except the one time someone I didn’t even know was asking me to marry them… That turned out to be a practical joke from a friend. That’s freaking weird and strange! LOL !

TPR: Well, I have a feeling you might need to brace yourself for some more wedding proposals once The Collective gets a look at your Valentine’s Day Devil Girl spread. Thank your for the outstanding photos and taking the time to chat with us! Have a Trashy Valentine’s Day, Gang, and sink your teeth into these pics of the lovely Michelle Macabre!

Stay Trashy!

Dementia Grimm; December Devil Girl of the Month 2013

Dem 03

Merry Trashmas Eve, Gang! It’s your friend, The Primal Root! The tree has been trimmed, the sleazy gifts jammed into stockings and we’re all settled in for a day of mirth, merriment, drinks and debauchery with those we hold dearest.  As we get into the good cheer of the holiday, I figure there are few better ways to stir up the cheer than observing the ever sultry and demented Dementia Grimm slaughter an innocent elf in cold blood with the assistance of a disturbingly pale Santa Claus! Nothing quite gets this Scrooge into the spirit of the season like some good, old fashioned elf slaughter!  So sit back, ready that yule log, and enjoy a little taste of pure Trashmas evil courtesy of our good friend, December Devil Girl of the Month,  Dementia Grimm!

Stay Trashy!

Mistress Paine; Halloween Devil Girl 2013

HALLOWEEN, GANG! Well, it’s that most magical day of the year, the day when the barrier between the living and the dead is thinnest, when we all get to put on disguises and roam the streets without getting arrested, that day when it’s socially acceptable to bang on complete strangers doors and beg for candy! That’s right, Halloween, or All Hallow’s Eve or Samhain, whichever you wish to call it is kosher in my book.  Well, one very sexy treat has been offered to us this Halloween in the form of a colorful, spooky and sultry set from the lovely Mistress Paine! Before we unwrap this sickeningly sweet piece of sugary confection, how’s about a little getting to know you chit-chat, hmm?

The Primal Root: Tell us a little bit about yourself. What kind of stuff are you into?

Mistress Paine: I really enjoy modeling but my focus right now is going to be to go back to school to be a vet assistant caring for animals has always been a passion of mine but for now in my free time i spend a lot of time with my best friend shawn and my bf2. As our Halloween Devil Girl, I was wondering which horror flicks you might be watching this October 31st?

PR: As our Halloween Devil Girl, I was wondering which horror flicks you might be watching this October 31st?

MP: This Halloween I’m going old school its not much of a horror but a favorite classic earnest scared stupid is my movie choice.

PR: What song would you recommend The Gang listen to while admiring your lovely Devil Girl set?

MP: A good song of choice to listen to while admiring my photos would have to be Head Like a Hole.

PR: What’s the scariest damn movie you’ve ever seen? What made it so frightening?

MP: Hmmm scariest movie I’ve ever seen is a tough one but id have to go with volcano as corny as it is when it boils down to it there isn’t a damn thing you can do to stop a volcano just get out of its way

PR:  When you’re out Trick or Treating Halloween night what sweet is sure to put a smile on your face?

MP: My favorite sweet that i look forward to this time of year is definitely candy corn i can’t get enough of those addicting pieces of pure sugar. 🙂

Well, the only thing sweeter than candy corn this Halloween might just be Mistress Paine’s wicked Halloween Devil Girl spread. Feast your eyes and enjoy! Oh, and Trashy Halloween! -Root

Polly Eurethane, Devil Girl of the Month; September 2013

Hello there, Gang! It’s your pal The Primal Root, here to introduce you to The Trash Cinema Collective’s astoundingly lovely Devil Girl for the Month of September, Polly Eurethane!  What do you say we get to know this month’s vision of beauty?

The Primal Root:  Polly, tell us a little bit about yourself. What kind of stuff are you into?

Polly Eurethane: I am a cosmetology instructor/hairdresser/punk bassist/lover of rabid weasels. In my spare time I enjoy reading, painting and general debauchery.

TPR: Do you have any favorite “so bad it’s good” trashy movies you enjoy watching and/or exposing your friends to? Do you have any other favorites you would like to recommend?

Polly: All-time fav. has to be “La plus longue nuit du diable”, aka “Devil’s Nightmare”. Eurotrash at its finest. I’m guessing for its time, it was quite risqué, and I must admit I am quite enamored of the lovely Erica Blanc. Rawr.  As far as recommendations, I will always root for the Italians. Bava.. Fulci.. Classics!

TPR: Any good resent bizarre flicks you’ve seen lately?

Polly: I have thoroughly enjoyed “American Horror Story”!

TPR: What music/song should people listen to while viewing your Devil Girl spread?

Polly: Anything by Black Flag or The Damned! I also love Skeletonwitch!!!

Excellent selections, Ms. Eurethane! Thank you so much for joining the ranks of our Trash Cinema Collective Devil Girls. Now, without any further a due, Gang, behold the gorgeousity that is Polly Eurethane!  Stay Trashy! -Root

RC: Devil Girl of the Month, July 2013

Hey Gang! Take a moment to give a warm welcome to  our latest member of the Devil Girl Family, RC!   This new friend of ours here at The Trash Cinema Collective is just in time to make this hot and sticky Florida summer even hotter. Please, by all means, feast your eyes on the seductive, the alluring, the wicked RC, our July Devil Girl of the Month! And, please,  try to stay cool. 😉

Primal Root:  Would you mind telling The Collective a little about yourself? What you’re into? What you’ve been up to lately?

RC: I’m a shy eco goth. I enjoy spending time in nature, growing my herbs and veggies and playing with my furry children. I try to live as much as a natural and healthy life as possible. I spend my free time hooking…urm, crocheting that is. I design patterns and run a free knitting/crochet pattern site nyanpon.com

PR:  What made you want to be a Devil Girl and can you tell us a bit about your set? What was your inspiration?

RC: First time I saw a Devil Girl I wanted to be one. I LOVE cosplay.Scene: You are alone in the woods. Fog rolls in and you are suddenly lost. You hear faint music, you decide to follow it. The music leads you to a clearing and glowing above you is a creepy sign with Sideshow written on it. Since my dream every since I was a child was to run away and join the circus I went with a sideshow theme.

PR: It’s story time. Do you have any strange, bizarre or trashy stories you can share with us?

RC: This one time at band camp…

PR: As you well know, we have a passion for movies the majority of film goers consider nonredeemable filth that no rational human being should ever watch. We call it Trash Cinema. What are some of your favorites?

RC: I grew up watching black and white B movies, they were my first love. Right now I am on a trashy 70s movies kick, the more boobs the better. Movies like Virigin Witch, Female Vampire, and Caged Heat are all so bad they are funny.

PR: RC, you’re our kind of lady! Thank you for your excellent Devil Girl spread and for keeping it Trashy!

Maiden Detroit: Devil Girl of the Month, March 2013

Hey Gang, it’s your pal The Primal Root and I am honored to introduce our Devil Girl of the Month, the beautiful, enigmatic,  Maiden Detroit! Maiden has recently become acquainted with The Trash Cinema Collective so we figured  we’d pummel her with some random questions so we can get to know a bit more about her.  So, please, feast your eyes on Maiden Detroit’s creepy, sexy,  gorgeous,  March Devil Girl spread and be sure to give her a warm welcome to The Collective! Stay Trashy! -Root

The Primal Root:  Maiden, tell us a little bit about yourself. your background, your interests. What the Hell have you been up to lately?

Maiden Detroit: I moved to Tallahassee about 5 years ago from my home, Detroit Michigan. I miss it. But I persevere. Home made me the woman I am today. Strong, tough, dependable, reliable, lovable, me.

TPR: What was the inspiration for your Devil Girl shoot?

MD: I have always been intrigued by death and her mysteries, I’ve been romping around graveyards for so long, out of respect for the unknown. There is something to be said for the unknown.

TPR: Tell us a story! Some kind of bizarre story, an unusual experience you can share with us.

MD: I don’t have many stories; which is unfortunate because I have all the stories. I just don’t kiss and tell.

TPR:  As you well know, we have a passion for movies the majority of film goers consider nonredeemable filth that no rational human being should ever watch. We call it Trash Cinema. What are some of your favorites?

I love all cinema. Movies are a prefect form of escapism. Whether you are sad or happy or looking for a raunchy good time. I take it all in and rejoice in the art. Because without art life does not exist.
