Hey Gang, The Primal Root here and I am extrordinarily happy to announce that to ring in the Trashy year of 2016, we will be watching BY POPULAR DEMAND, the 1984 quirky, highly original comedy/horror/sci-fi/teeny bopper epic, and one of the very first films to nab the then new PG-13 rating, NIGHT OF THE COMET!

11 days before Christmas, the world is passing throught the tail of a comet, an event which has not occured in 65 Million years. Remember when that was? Back when all the dinosaurs went extinct. So, of course, everyone throws extravagant outdoor parties to watch as we make our way through the comet’s tail… Two attractive highs chool girls wake up the following morning to find that it seems the entire population of Los Angeles, and perhaps the world, has been wiped off the face of the planet by the porevious evenings cellestial happenings. Well, everyone excepet some cute dude they run into, hordes of vicious zombies and some weirdo government officials who were locked safetly in an underground bunker. It looks like the fate of the entire world is now in the hands of two teenage girls armed to the teeth and looking to party.

Come on out and join your friends from The Trash Cinema Collective for an evening’s entertainment sure to get you pumped for the New Year at hand! Grab a pitcher of your favorite ice cold beverage, sink your teeth into THE BEST damn burger in Tallahassee or slurp down a bucket of delectable oysters, all while we watch and laugh as two your ladies struggle with the sudden lack of humanity and sudden rise in hostile comet zombies in the City of Angels!
